‘Explore your views and angles, there is a greater depth in what you initially see…’
about me
From a young age, I've had a deep passion for sports and an eye for detail. Initially, I joined a dance academy, but repeated injuries led me to switch paths and graduate from the Academy of Art and Design. Alongside my studies, I earned certifications in yoga, Pilates, personal training, and medical fitness.
I became fascinated by the connection between breath, movement, and body awareness. Learning to control movement and understand proprioception (the body’s ability to sense how muscles and joints work together to maintain balance and coordination) allowed me to move more efficiently in both daily life and sports. I discovered that proper breathing activates the deeper core muscles, key to injury prevention and overall well-being.
Sifan Hassan was the first top athlete I had the opportunity to work with in her early years. After moving abroad and gaining 7 years of international experience, I returned to the Netherlands and now work with clients such as the Atletiekunie, training the sprint team in recovery and injury prevention. I've also worked individual with athletes like Churandy Martina, preparing him for his sixth Olympics and Lie Marvin Bonevacia, focusing on mobility and recovery. Additionally, I’ve guided teams such as the Dutch women’s handball team.
In addition to working with athletes, I also collaborate with musicians, including an opera singer from the Dutch National Opera. Our focus is on improving posture, strengthening the core, and enhancing lung capacity. We aim to achieve a balance between activating the right muscles without limiting the movement and expression essential for their performance.
